On 19 March 2026, the HyBioComBone project organised a workshop entitled “Biomaterials for bone tissue regeneration”, which took place in the ceremonial hall of the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy from 11 a.m. The workshop focused on modern advances in the development of biomaterials for bone tissue regeneration, adopting a multidisciplinary approach that integrates new generation materials, nanotechnology, biomedical engineering, and clinical applications. Participants had the opportunity to learn about hybrid biomaterials for bone tissue regeneration, bioactive materials with regenerative and therapeutic potential, and controlled drug delivery systems. They also learned about modern research methods and approaches in biomedicine and materials engineering.
Program of the workshop
The workshop aimed to encourage the exchange of knowledge and skills, interdisciplinary cooperation, and the development of innovative solutions in regenerative medicine. A large number of undergraduate and doctoral students attended the workshop, all of whom participated in the discussion on the development of modern biomaterials and their application in medicine and dentistry.
